A B2B and B2C fair, Downtown Design showcases the latest collections, innovative products and design solutions from the region and around the world, complemented by a line-up of creative showcases, activations and industry events.
Alongside established brands and manufacturers, the fair features showcases of rising talent and cultural group exhibitions, pop-up concepts and design installations found throughout the fair apace with collateral programmes catering to each relevant audience; from international A&ID professionals to local homeowners and design enthusiasts, while country-specific initiatives and trade organisations present showcases featuring their brands, makers and designers, collectively promoting their local design industries in the Middle East.
The fair's boutique showcase for limited-edition and bespoke design, Downtown Editions, offers independent designers, collectives and studios a platform to access top-tier design professionals, HNWIs and relevant public visitors looking to discover, buy or commission handmade and small-scale manufactured works.
A number of changes will be implemented this year, such as zero-waste guidelines and new dedicated audience programmes, but the fair will remain a boutique event catering to both the industry and consumers.
